Mod for fighting bots in multiplayer?

Is there a mod to enable bots in multiplayer? I want to check out all the original multiplayer maps from this and UO but I don't want to spend all day hunting for any active multiplayer servers that aren't modded to high heaven. If I could fight a simple 6v6 or whatever with bots on all the maps, that would be perfect but I don't know where to find mods for this game or if such a thing is even possible.

I tried following the instructions in that link but I couldn't get it to work. It doesn't help that the original mod for CoD 2 seems to be poorly translated from another language. I might just have to accept that I won't be able to play the multiplayers of these original games.

Are you trying to get it for CoD 1 or CoD2? The link I posted originally was for CoD2 (my mistake for not reading the post properly). There are other servers that run bots though so even if you cant get it to work on your own there are available servers to play with bots. I can also try and set it up myself since Im used to running servers and see if I can get it working.

Call of Duty 1, yeah. Though the link says it's for Call of Duty 1 so I don't know what the issue is. I saw in the comments on the mod page though that is is a port of another mod that is for Call of Duty 2, which has a lot more information and the necessary commands (albeit translated from what I imagine is Hungarian considering the original authors).

If you could set up a server, that would be amazing! Would you need to be online as well for it to work or would I be able to play it by myself, just in case our schedules don't work out or whatever?

Ill try to setup a local server for solo play and see if I can get it to work, if not Ill just buy a new server. Ive hosted several so Im sure I have an old config file around somewhere I can slap in and host online.
