Disable music?
Anyone know of a way to disable the music? It's overpowering the other sounds, and the only in-game options is a single master volume slider to turn ALL sounds up or down.

As far as I am aware of, there is no way to reduce the volume of the music. The best you could do is remove the music from the game files... Which isn't ideal in my opinion, lol.

What music do you mean? Isnt there just music in the menue?

I'm certain he's talking about in the single player campaign. There's an entire soundtrack! :P

Yeah the single player campaign is what I am talking about. I'd be happy removing the files, but I'm not sure where the files are....I am guessing they are buried in one of these pk3 files.

Yeah, they are somewhere in the pk3 files. I'd guess they're also scattered. I'm also not sure if removing them would actually cause any issues with the game code. I would guess probably not, but you can't rule it out for sure.

Given that I've never modified the game files to remove the music, I can't really give much more advice. :(

i have something you can try

you see the folder in the game directory that says miles? rename it to something else and then try the game. it works on mw2 and i don't know if it works here too

In your game files, rename/delete Miles. It's what we did back in the day. "Gaming" is right.

I got it. Go into miles and remove Mssmp3.asi
that will disable the music. thank god. Sticky this please

it will shut off the voices however, so be aware
