[Updated] Eryi's Action Now Available for Linux!
Why should Windows users have all the fun? :)

We're rounding the final bend of the porting work - just some sound fixes left to go and then Eryi will be about ready to make her Linux debut. This will also be the first Nyu Media game to make it to Linux & hopefully the next will follow very soon.

One of the outputs of the project will be an open source release of 'DxPortLib', a library to facilitate porting from DxLib to SDL2 so hopefully paving the way for doujin circles to make their own ports from Windows to Mac OS X, Linux, iOS, and Android.

Serious props to fellow doujin community supporter & developer extraordinaire Mauve Cow for this work on this.

More updates / release date to follow.

Cheers!

Pretty cool news for Eryi!

Just mauve is fine!

Yes, this is an experiment and liable to be in beta for a bit once we get it up there, but it's not too far off.

Whoa. This could be big news.

@ Benomono: is that an Eryi + Santa hat avatar?

Well, I saw the game logo art and thought, ehhhhh.... But something compelled me to click play on the video, and that sold me. So, congrats! I dual-boot Arch Linux and SteamOS right now (probably until Steam Machines launch), so probably as soon as it's released, you've got yourself another sale. I've wishlisted it and I look forward to the frustration!
SteamOS is already a thing?

SteamOS came out a couple days ago. It's nice but I wouldn't recommend switching to it just yet; for the most part things run perfectly fine on Ubuntu or variations thereof.

This is to be considered a beta for now, if there's any problems please say so and I'll try to get them worked out.

I mean, there shouldn't be, but I'm just one person.

Yeah, this. He does have my back-up any time he needs it, granted, but I don't have a Linux dev set-up right now. @.@

It's a cool game, but I really suck at it. :) I want to unleash it upon some Christmas guests. :)
