I believe that's how it normally plays. I installed the Multiverse Launcher and the game plays at 60 FPS now.

Yes, the automated "Rolling Demo" capped at about 13 fps or so. It wasn't very problematic back in the 90's

i have games unmodded from the years around 2000.... they are not capped on frames....the cap is the hardware... so whats wrong to expect more than 17fps....
