Low quality textures on max settings

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone else noticed extremely low quality textures being used on the floors and some surfaces? Extremely blocky. I'm running on max settings with an AMD 290. I'm not referring to the streaming textures that are sometimes visible. Is this an issue that other people are having? Just me? Fixes?

Borderlands isn't really known for its stunning visuals. Screenshot it doe, so we can further access.

I don't see a real issue, a lot of backdrops and stuff in borderlands are pixelized like that (especially that athena poster, that's completely normal). If everything else looks good you should be all set.

Hmm while is looks normal, some textures really look a bit more loew rez than usual. Have you check all the settings ?

Thanks for your input, everyone. I guess I thought something was up because I don't remember thinking "crap, that's a crummy texture" from across the room with the previous entries in the borderlands franchise. Some of the textures seem straight out the the original DOOM......

All settings are at max except for PhysX (set to medium)

All the settings are on high (except PhysX) by the way.

Theres a setting that you can turn off that will disable low quality textures after loading/entering an area.

I'll have a look when i get on and tell you what it is.

Yeah, same issue. I guess what makes it so jarring is the mixing of high(er) resolution textures, and low resolutions textures....

Hello, we are having the same problem there, low quality textures even with the HD pack and everything on high!! Does anyone know how to solve it?

There are two things I can suggest. There's an option in the graphics menu called "Texture Fade" you need to turn that off if it is on.
