Mission "It Ain't rocket surgery" is bugged.

Getting critical kills doesn't reliably drop the brains you need. I've been getting nothing but headshots, 20 critical kills in a row and only one brain has dropped so far. My character even does her critical kill dialogue sometimes while that annoying ♥♥♥♥♥ is screaming "you gotta crit them to get the brain" over and over. Plz fix.

Normal or True Mode? Verify game cache, restart the mission if you're not getting critical hits and repeat it.

Luckily, never had problem with that mission, especially using strong sniper rifle.

Normal. I was getting critical hits (critical kills) they just wern't causing brains to drop most of the time. Was able to finally finish it, but it took about 15 minutes and over 100 critical kills.

Were you using a shotgun or another multi-pellet weapon? I've found that those tend to be pretty unreliable for actually counting crit kills.

I had this problem too. Just grab a sniper and do it, I did manage to do it once or twice with another gun type, but idk how.

had the same thing but i found that you have to do the critical with a melee attack, freeze them it will be easier :P

There are two circular areas in that map, I must have killed a hundred humans with critical hits on the southern circle, then I decided to try the area in the north, and the brains dropped with the first and second kills.

So maybe try that, either going to the northern area, if you're in the southern, or vice versa.

Any element effects on a weapon can cause the headshots not to deal the "death blow".

Or the stalkers can get the last bit of health too .

Keep at it ... sometimes it takes longer than others.
