Why are there so many homosexual charaters in Borderlands?

I noticed that most of the major and minor characters, and even most the background characters in Borderlands 2 are homosexual or Bisexual. I started playing Borderlands the Pre-Sequel and literally the first character you meet on Elpis is a homosexual. Does Gearbox want better buisness? Are they just more tolerant than other game companies? Why do they have to shove Homosexuality in our face?

Homosexuality has become from a sexuality to a Trend that is widely supported by Politics that are correct for the Majority of the weaklinks in every society And this game is being depicted exactly like that Just read all the previous comments and understand more

And no borderlands 2 didnt slap you alot with hetrosexuallity but it had some touches But those are easily ignored because it was made in perfect harmony just like the homosexuality in the game

I never said it was an art, I said it was an artistic desion to make them homosexual. It's like making Lara Croft a woman... Not because of women's rights, but because it seemed right for the character...
Hetrosexuality wasn't in perfect harmony with homosexuallity... In Borderlands 2, ♥♥♥♥ and Bisexuallity was mentioned for a short moment, I don't remember all those missions scooter sent me on to find women and porn mags while Jack flirts with various people being in "Perfect harmony" with each other...
TPS isn't a horrible game... you're just too ignorant to see past this and play the damn game, plus Australia isn't a very accepting country for homosexuality... so I don't see how it's their fault.

Maybe homosexuality is common in the Borderlands world because people don't want to have kids in such a crazy universe. I mean, sure, you might end up with an entertaining kid like Tina, but most likely you'll spawn a pile of mung like Lunestalker *snort*.

I have never put much thought into it. The issue has just become less subtle since BL1 even though BL1 especially in the Knoxx DLC played a lot with stereotypes connected with it. Since BL2 it's been less ambiguous. However getting outright offended by it would be hypocritic but I am not surprised to see socially conservative circles being up in arms about it all around the world. For them blasting someone's head off or exercising extreme brutality involving a lot of blood is much less offensive and disturbing than "Hey, Athena, you look pretty!". That's pretty much a the gates of hell opening for them, literally....

Dont get me wrong i dont hate Homosexuality aslong as its kept to the owners
If someone is gay and he keeps hes buisness to himself Good luck to him
