no "mark as junk" option
seriusly why did they remove this option from the pre sequel.
i kno they added in the grinder but that doesnt mean they have to remove the ability for ppl that wnna mark their items as junk and sell them in one shot.

You can mark your favorite stuff as favorite and sell all non-favorite items with 1 push. Its even simpler than before because you dont have to mark all 20 trash items, just the 1 good one which is probably at the top of ur list.

With delete, same way you did in BL2. The only difference is you don't have to mark as trash. It will just sell everything not marked as fav.

The difference is that it's easier to accidently sell good stuff you've gotten from loot/rewards if you forget to mark them as favourites. You'll have to mark stuff as favourites as soon as you pick them up or never use the "sell all unmarked" button.

The junk option was so pointless. If you're going through your inventory one by one to mark as junk, you might as well just be selling them individually instead. It's the same amount of clicks either way. With this system you can quickly pick out the two or three worthwhile items and instantly toss the rest. Way faster.

I don't think it was pointless, if only because I would mark items well before I actually got to a vendor. After maxing out my inventory as much as I could in BL2 I would pick up a lot of loot of mark it as I picked it up, which lowered the overall amount of time at a vendor.
Personally, I never did it to reduce the overall amount of clicks, it just felt easier to do it in my inventory screen where I can compare new and old loot and then decide what I want to sell. Selling at a vendor always felt cluttered, since I couldn't see what I had equipped. And if you were going to check your inventory and swap loot anyway then its easier to just mark it then and there and hit one button to sell it all at once.
I never actually liked the menus in BL because they felt cluttered, and it was hard to see everything you needed to see without flipping back and forth.

I agree, I'm always looking through my inventory "in the field" and so marking them to delete was akin to browsing my inventory. I'm sure all of you go through your inventory potentially dozens of times before you ever reach the vendor. Every time I pick up a blue or better I know I'm opening it up and comparing it with what I have.

I personally loved the delete because some items were borderline...as in I want to try them out before yay'ing or nay'ing them. A starred item was "Yes, I want to keep this" where a non-marked item meant it was under consideration. Now I have to star everything, which is a PITA going through and remembering if I starred it because I liked it or because I was trying it out.

I wouldn't use it, but my solution would be to include not a junk mark but a craft mark of some sort that prevents the weapon from being sold during the mass sell. That way the delete key would still function for people that didn't want an extra step when they mass sold wouldn't be affected and people looking to organize there loot for testing/grinder purposes would be able to use a secondary mark that didn't mix it into their favorites, but prevented them from being sold in mass.

Hopefully the junk mark comes back for B3. I use the favorite mark for those items that I intend to store long term, these are usually items that are shared across characters. The junk mark is for items that I intend to sell as soon as possible. I found it very useful.
