All characters classes explained?
I havent made a character yet, can someone explain each one? I've tried googling, and do not seem to be able to find anything helpful.

Wilhelm - Is he like Axton/Roland?
Claptrap - ?
Athena - ?
Nisha - ?

his right tree and action skill are totally random

The classes are quite a bit more varied than in the previous games, as far as what their focus is.

I just finished the game with Athena and I started out trying to go down the fire/shock elemental branch, but wasn't getting those kinds of weapons to be able to use it well, so I switched to the branch focusing on damage and melee. Then there's the branch I didn't even try, which focuses on her shield and various abilities and buffs for that.

Claptrap has a couple of skill trees that mainly focus on the randomness of his abilities, many of them causing you to get random bonuses and penalties for certain weapon or damage types. It's very odd. And then his third skill tree is focused on group healing/buffing.

Wilhelm does have a certain similarity to Axton/Roland, in that he throws down turrets, but his happen to fly around, fighting for him and healing him. A lot of the skills involve increasing the strength of those or upgrading Wilhelm's body with cybernetic parts.

The thing about them is that, moreso than the previous games, you kind of have to look at the trees and figure out which one suits your playstyle, as they feel a little more specific to certain tactics or abilities that, if you don't use them, might be completely worthless to you.

Ive played about 100 hours so far and have completed multiple play throughs so this is what i think.

Athena- Best way to say it is she's the in your face vault hunter. You have a choice of focusing on gun damage or melee attack but the main playstyle is to bring up your shield/action skill to get close to enemies and use massive damage but short range attacks. In co/op her action skill can be used to protect squishy allies and it should be noted that she has a long range revive skill.

Wilhelm - Your very achievable goal is to simply never die. Lot of almost broken healing skills in the middle and right tree. Your general play style would be to run around not giving a ♥♥♥♥ and shot/punch everything in the face. You also have the choice to let your little bots do the damage or do the damage yourself.

Claptrap - This one is by far the hardest to explain but to sum it up, lots of RNG. He has three different playstyles. The left tree is focus on doing a lot of explosive damage making it ideal for single player. Middle tree focuses on healing and teamwork while the right tree focus on your guns and giving you rewards and punishments depending on which gun your using. I would highly suggest not going in the right tree for the early game as its hard to get the gun you need at any given time.

Nisha - All the DPS. She focuses on putting out as much damage as possible. Her skills, depending on her spec, let you focus your dps on one or many targets. However her law and order tree gives her less dps in return of some survivablity. Its still powerful but ive found it to be very situational.

Athena:super defense and regen, plus some elemental damage and melee.
Nisha:super damage with non-elemental gun.And her skill is an aim-bot.
Wilhelm:most balanced defense-offense,but to be honest i don't like skill that summon an indipendent AI.
Claptrap:Random everything. He can be the best or the worst, depending on your luck.

nisha- kills everything fast
athena- melee overpowered
claptrap- explosive + moneyshot
wilhelm- immortal
Nisha: Glass Cannon... Aka, destroys everything easy, gets destroyed easy (No, not like, you sick f*ck... But I suppose it kinda applys aswell)
