if you put in three blue and do a normal grind you might get a purple you might get another blue.
moonstones garantee a purple.
plus they have the chance to add a bonus stat to weapon such as ingnoring shields or extra xp etc.
Thanks. I put in three blue snipers and recieved a purple one back and didn't optain the achievement 'Expensive Taste' though.
Epensive taste is for grinding to get an orange weapon, I think
grinding 2 legendaries with a purple CAN be moonstone, and should be. otherwise, there's a chance you'll only get a purple back. the bonus is, you can get a moonshine perk on your legendary (if it's a weapon).
Yes ^
