Life-saving performance tweaks - MUST READ
Hi guys, here is a link to a guide that will definetely boost your performances in an ubelievable way. I TAKE ABSOLUTELY NO CREDIT FOR IT, just wanted to share.

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=146123538

I just can testify that using the .ini tweaks only (except the Detail Mode) i went from playing with medium settings, no AA, no decal and medium view distance while having 40fps drops to playing MAXED OUT (no physx) with some rare drop to 50/54fps on my GTX 660 and i7 860.

The only thing i want to add is suggest considering to lower the corpse persistency to decrease the load of your GPU on larger gunfights.

This can easily be done by changing 4 simple lines in WillowGame.ini with this suggested values:

SecondsBeforeConsideringRagdollRemoval=5.0
SecondsBeforeVisibleRagdollRemoval=15.0
SecondsBetweenRagdollRemovalAttempts=1.0
SecondsBeforePhysicsShutsDown=10.0

Values are expressed in seconds, so it's very easy for you to change them at will.

Enjoy!

Can also add that with a 2-Way SLI setup here on GTX 980, I just need to do one thing to stop the fps drops to 20fps in huge combat, physx=0 in WillowEngine.ini and I can keep an average fps between 100-140fps on 1440p @ 144Hz without an overclock, just the base clocks of the reference card and normal boost. Physx is just badly implemented with all the spamming effects

Definetly. Of course this guide is specifically made for low/mid-end PCs. With your little beast you won't even feel the difference ;)

Anyway thanks for the addition.

yeah I understand but try to disable physx too I'm sure you will notice a notable gain compared to the visual little loss, everything is so much colored it is hardly noticable a difference with or without physx and makes the gameplay so much better here.

But I'm sure you tips are very good too

How is it pathetic when it uses the same graphics and physics engine?
