Sub-Level 13: Part 2 bug

The title explains my situation. I seem to have run into a bug on the Sub-Level 13: Part 2 mission where you decide whether to give the inverter to Schmidt or to Pickle. The problem is that I want to use it for Schmidt, but giving it to Pickle is the only available option for me. If anyone has a solution to fix this I would be happy to know.

same problem, who is Schmidt and where is he(possibly with Waldo)?

Schmidt is a she, and she only appears after you fix the Travel Station or however they call it.
Which is located in the upper right level of the 3 station tubes that you shut down earlier.

Schmidt will appear after you fix the computer. Which allows you to turn in the quest to obtain the E-Gun.

i don't think you actually give it to schmidt. you have to put the inverter into a console.

Yep. There is a console. Just plug the damned thing in.

Yes, but placing the inverter in the console is not an available option [for me]. Only the waypoint to Pickle is showing on the map.

Restart the game, close / reopen etc.
Worst case scenario, have to re-do the whole quest.
And IMO it's a pretty fun quest to do.

And if you really...REALLY...REALLLLLY want that E-Gun.

Wait for Gibbed to get the quest modifier working.
Or. Hand it in for Pickle, and add the E-Gun in for yourself.

I attempted restarting the game itself, but nothing.
I wouldn't mind re-doing the quest, but it doesn't seem like I will be able to since I keep getting the Turn In message.
Also, the E-Gun is no longer in my Inventory, even though the quest is still open. I retraced my steps back and found it back on the floor next to the dead body (where it was to begin with).

Oh well. =/

Just try to find a console yourself. It is actualy somewhere near the end of the mission. You may try to find some vids on Youtube.

I restarted the game before there was a reply and lost the E-gun from my cache, so I had no choice but to turn the mission into Pickle . I saw the console , but I was afraid to plug it in because I was unsure, there are too mamy damn incosistencies in this game and a quarter of the time I can't understand the dialogoe. There should be a way you could replay the instuctions for each mission but that would make too much damn sense.
