And please stop talking about thing you have no idea about, i am not beeing rude iam just telling you to stop stating facts based on your opinion of something. You are not qualified to tell of someone is a professional voice actor or not. Maybe this is exactly what they aimed for ? But it just so happend that you dident like it as much as you did in borderlands 1 and 2 ?
And iam pretty sure that Borderlands 2 was and is a much bigger title then this game and that they had way more resources behind the creation of borderlands 2 then they did on pre-sequel.
But in the future stop stating facts when you dont really know them. You have an opinion on something and that is all good but dont speak of it as the Truth
Are you really that bold ? When you write things like this you sound really dumb, because no one forced you to buy the game, no one forces you to play it. You cant expect that every single game you buy and play meets your goals 100% all the time. Yes you waited for this game like a kid waits for X-mas but sometimes santa brings you socks instead of racecars and dirtbikes. I have bought games i have waitied for, i have waited for games since they first were anounced, 2-4 years later at launch date i find out the game was ♥♥♥♥ ( In my opinion ). But still i know there are thousand of players out there that loves the game, but bad luck for me that this just dident hit my magic spot. Get used to it.
My 'facts' were based on a Kotaku interview with 2k Australia in which they said "...they used their own voices as placeholders.".

"I feel insulted that they think this is acceptable" yes, I am really that bold. If I pay for a product and use it, then I a expect to be allowed to voice an opinion on it. I know that this is completely my opinion and others will differ, so at no point did I advise anyone against buying it.
By all mean feel free to disagree with me, that's what makes forums interesting. But please don't make it a direct attack on my personality, stating I am 'dumb', it's non-constructive and unnecessary.
P.s. I'm sorry to hear you had a disappointing X-mas.
What quality is missing in the acting that is present in the past game? You don't say. All you said is that that's better and this is worse.
What the hell is a professional voice actor anyway? What do they do differently, exactly?
None more so than David Pickle. it's hard to do Cockney so badly that it makes ♥♥♥♥ Van ♥♥♥♥'s character in Mary Poppins sound good, but he manages it.
I did in my follow up post:

If you ever want to make suggestions in the hopes that they are fulfilled, Steam forums are not the place to do it. Some devs do hang out on Steam and are acitve in the community. Neither Gearbox or 2K are those kind of devs. Try heading over to the official Borderlands forums.

At the end of development they decided to stick with their own voices. In my own opinion I thought there was a distinct difference in quality of 'voice acting' compared to those of the professionals who voice the main characters (Jack, Lilith, etc...).
It has nothing to do with the fact they're Australian (that's a refreshing change), just acting quality.
If you read the post beyond what you felt you needed to validate your rage you'd have seen:
In other words it was done deliberatly, and frankly i agree with 2K Texas, it worked really well.
Shame the rest of the game was a let down though lol
"so they got Australian voice actors when they had originally intended to get American ones." Nowhere does it say that in the article.
It backs up my point. They didn't then get Australian voice actors to redo it, they stuck with 2K's place holders. The people that worked on the game did the voices of the new characters.
