Placeholders, OP. Placeholders. As in, "they used their voices as placeholders until the professionals could come in to do their jobs." The placeholder voices are not in the final product. You are hearing the professional voice actors.
For the third time lacking local co-op and now terrible voicing, this game is borderline bargain bin.
Nothing wrong with taking the route they did for their voice acting, but this was bound to happen in any event going this route. Even in the case of borderlands 2 for all I know there were people all over the world failing to understand nomads, scooter, ellie and goliaths and would completely sympathize with them and understand their distaste for the game due to it.
1 reason you say its "bad voice acting" is because you dont understand australian lingo!
