Is it Nisha that is super easy, or is it BLTPS?
I have recently started playing, got to level 20, and aside from some driving off cliffs here and there, I never die.

This seems odd.

I am asking an honest question, is BLTPS a lot easier than BL2? As I doubt I am a better player than I was, and I am just mowing through the game.

Maybe my memory of BL2 being hard is because I left off goofing around on the UVHM or whatever it was called, where each fight is life or death when you started out on it. But I think Nisha was stronger than any of the BL2 characters, and I did try all those.

Are all the new characters crazy powerful?

Normal mode is about as easy in TPS as it was in BL2 to me, BL2 only got murderously difficult in UVHM.

I don't think TPS is easier than BL2. I played Zero in BL2, mainly using a sniper rifle. I'm playing Nisha the same way and, besides some enemies shortly before the end of the game, I only got in trouble when they managed to gang up on me. It was the same for me in BL2.

Gotcha! So it's just my foggy memory of BL2. I don't know if I like the story enough to level up some of the other characters, will have to see how long and boring Winter gets ;)

TPS?.... UVHM?... wtf -.-

Yes, TPS is easier than BL2. Speaking as a guy who played through BL2 again because of transferring platforms, even using Salvador for near immortality, I eventually still got downed by something. I think the devs realised BL2 went a tad too far and made the players more powerful(/nerfed the mobs).

barrels are sneaky feckers though. snipe them. :'<

In my own experience, yeah seems TPS is a lot easier, I don't die anywhere near as much as I did in BL2 on normal mode. BL2 was a grind for me using zero, I always seemed to be underpowered, I think this is an improvement.

Whats TPS or UVHM? I want to join the discussion ^^
The final boss was the only thing that felt overly easy. I was largly underwhelmed.

RNG has more to do with your experience in playing through these games than "balance" does. For the most part. That's why everyone has a different answer.

TPS is just The Presequel. UVHM is ultimate vault hunter mode (if I recall correctly), basically it was the third playthrough of Borderlands 2.

I honestly feel like it's slightly more difficult, but I think it's just because I'm playing solo and/or because I just finished a stealth-based game (Dishonored). TPS has firmly reminded me that the Borderlands series is multiplayer oriented.

Think this installment in the series is much easier than 1 and 2....except a few cheap mechanics like dots which is pretty much an auto down for me....even with 60%ish resist to elements + stacking sheilds/health.

Game is not all that challenging even in TVHM; wtb UVHM please?!
