So I kinda miss Dr. ("I'm not a real doctor") Zed.
I wonder why they replaced Dr. Zed with Nurse Nina. He was in both Borderlands 1 and 2. I kind of miss his homey comments. Nurse Nina grates on the nerves.

I also noted his absence, in the same way, he was non-annoying, which in BL universe is pretty special.

Hate Nina.... She had zero character as well. might as well have been a russian vending machine.

I thought the chocolates and flowers in Ninas room might have been from him.

That's what I thought about Moxxi

Nina's seriousness and Russian origin brings a bit of a grounded sense of sanity to this game. Also, parody of Star Wars and Star Trek in the medical "expert" in Borderlands Pre-Sequel with in Nina's design not enough?

Nina is... kind of bland. Also someone didn't even bother to check the spelling of 'horosho' and made it 'korosho' or something.

I miss Zed so much.

Probably because they couldn't get the voice actor back. I assume the same thing happened to Marcus.

Why must all these characters suddenly be on Elpis?
Moxxi was already pushing it. Having these characters always turn up no matter what the setting is makes the game's world feel so provincial.
Because they relay on the vault hunters protection? :/

I kinda liked Nina.

That said, Zed was probably in Fyrestone (I honestly don't remember if I'm spellin that right.). While he does show up in New Haven in the first game he was pretty content with staying at Fyrestone right up until Jack's bots invaded.

As Roland and Lilith said they were on vacation. Why Moxxi is there is probably the stranger one to me, unless her arena was already destroyed (I was under the impression it happened after Jack invaded instead of before, but hey, accident maybe.)

I liked Nina.

The moment I heard her russian accent, I was like "She is like the lovechild of The Heavy and The Medic, I immediatly love her existence."
Captain Havelock 19 OCT 2014 a las 19:45
Nina could have been better it wasn't the russian or just the fact it wasn't zed. She had zero depth to her character. I only ever found 1 quest from her (correct me if im wrong) and she had like 5 times where you hear her speak.

I miss zed too :(

Its probably all part of presentation, as well as Dr. Zed being one of the very first NPCs you meet in the original game.
