Is this game long?

Is the pre sequel as long as borderlands 2 (story missions and all the side quests available)?BL2 took me like 40-50 hours to complete everything (no DLCs).

The first half will say its short and the second half will say its as long as bl2 without dlc.
If you run throught the main quest only its short.
If you do that in bl2 its also short.
In my opinion both are short without sidequests.
If you enjoy the game and do the sidequests it will last for ~15 hours in normal mode.

15hrs?...damn I must be slow or exploring too much :( took me 23hrs to do the main story and all side quests minus 4. (I seen 4 more after completing game that are either new or I just missed). I haven't even taken a look at the challenge list yet either. Weird thing is, is that I don't feel I have been going through it slow??. I felt like I was rushing through a few missions....guess not.

Well side quests are fun,especially the arena fights in bl2 with tons of waves of enemies,that was the most fun i've had in the game.

I'm only at level 36 with most of the side missions complete at 55 hours. I think that sums it up and that's just with one class. Just like every other Borderlands game it usually stretches out to over 100 hours regardless of what you do.

Hey nothing wrong with that, thats great isn't it? I think it took me 18 hours in coop, because we play normal and sometimes go left and right to find little secrets thats why i said ~15 hours.

25 hours for my first playthrough. Every quest completed and a couple hours or messing around. All done solo with the Gunslinger.

I am level 36 and just played 26 hours. What did you do? Sneak through the whole game?

It would depend on the type of gamer you are.

I have played 6 hours and I just hit level 10, I have only played this character and I think it will take me well over 30 hours to complete the game the first time, then of course I have the TVH mode.
Everyone plays differently, I like to search everything, kill everything and listen to all the quests.
Also I only play solo so I set the pace for myself.

Depends really, took me 18 hours with all the side quests including the Raid boss exluding the Slaughter pit (Saving it for TVHM)

Story line with a bit of side quests took me just under 14 hours,

blitzing normal playtrough and then completing all side and main on TVHM took me about 38 hours

Please tell me you did the side quests AFTER completing UVHM

I ran through the first playthrough mostly ignoring side quests and I've just completed the game with 17 hours of playtime. Probably wouldn't be unreasonable to double that number for TVHM where I'll do all side quests.
