Space Slam bugged?

I have jumped and hit the hoop at least 10 times and it keeps telling me "Failed".

Anyone else have this problem?

you got to hit the hoop dead on without hitting the backboard otherwise it will fail you.

I don't know, after spamming it about 20 times I finally succeeded. I hit the hoop plenty of times dead on. I think the target might need some fine-tuning.

You have to slam it, not just land on it. Worked 1st time for me when I tried that.

I was using slam the entire time. Just to confirm, I watched a buddy do the same mission yesterday and it took him 10 tries to get it to work.

Okay look, after trying it for an hour one night, I tried it the next day and landed it the second try. This is how I did it, and when I told a friend to try my way, it was done in seconds....

Use the scribbling on the basketball court as a reference....

Like when you hit C, use the writing below you as a TIMER. Then judge how close you are to the target based upon that.

Another way would be to use your health bar, but I find the scribbling easier. I hope it helps....quite a few of us land that quest easy using this method.

I didn't realize you had to go get the mission from the announcer dude AGAIN after every failure. Yeah so....herp derp.

I got it on first try. Aim straight down. When your crosshair is in the loop, hold crouch, done.

So the trick to this one is that you have to press C twice. If you don't, then the "slam" part would already be over by the time you arrive at the hoop.

its completely broken in my copy of the game, i can never slam
