So is everyone homosexual in the pre sequel?
It seems as if every character who mentions being in a relationship is gay. I find it quite odd and in your face. Whats the deal with that?

Just admit a bunch of you are homophobes and move on imo. There, I said it.
I love this mindset. It's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ typical of internet stupidity.

"THIS PERSON OBVIOUSLY MUST BE AFRAID OF SOMETHING, DERP.

OH NO, IT CAN'T POSSIBLY BE THE COMPLETELY REASONABLE AND ENTIRELY LOGICAL DISLIKE OF A SERIES PEOPLE HAVE AN INTEREST IN TURNING INTO SOME DOUCHEBAG'S SOAP BOX."

Get off your high horse.

Originalmente postado por Veya:
Trust me, gay people are there, they just don't announce it unless it becomes relevant, because there is no reason to.
And this is EXACTLY what I'm talking about.

Those of you saying this is because it's "realistic" and that "gay people exist irl lol" need to get your ♥♥♥♥ straight. This right here, is why we're sick of this crap. If you're willing to accept what's being stated in this quote, you damn well better be prepared to accept that it's entirely logical to get irritated at someone using a video game as a soap box.

The moral of the story is to say your bit and move the ♥♥♥♥ on. Expect backlash if you start spinning your wheels and obsessing over something that doesn't add interest to the story of the game you're writing for.

People defending this sort of crap are not helping their cause any more than those idiots who go out and hold obnoxious parades. If anything, this kind of behavior makes it harder for the actual level headed people to make change happen. Show some damn sensibility.

Gay characters? What are you people talking about?

I haven't even encountered a single character in this game, so how can there even be gay characters if there is simply no characters?

Or are you talking about the 3 generic enemies we kill over and over and over and over and over from the end beginning to the end? The "scavs"? Yeah I noticed, they're all males. They're probably clones too. And since there is no women model for enemies (probably would have cost too much money for this DLC to have a FOURTH model for the only enemy we kill in the game), and nothing to do in those environment and in this game, there is indeed nothing better to do than having some bromance <3 <3 <3<3<3<3<3<3.

Plz someone refund me, I'm now questionning my sanity.

Well if it makes you feel any better, Tiny asked Athena who is the most cutiest person she had ever met and she replied that there this was this redhead boy and something about his town burning or something. Probably took place when she was still a crimson assassin.

As far as sexuality goes, Janey Springs is the only obvious one.
The rest are not anywhere close. Anyone remember Shank?
He was pretty damn hilarious!

I'm offended by my own stupidity for believing Gearbox wouldn't sell me a couple hours long DLC at a full game price.

Wercome to rife.

and then in some side quests (the one with Deidre) her husband, who is straight (and one of the few straight npc's you see at the start of the game) is crazy..
In BL2, also written by Burch, there was a sidequest(in the Torgue DLC, to be specific) with more or less the exact same plot, except it was a gay couple.

It goes both ways, really.

Giggity. :-)

You speak as if that wasn't hinted at in the trailers, the moment they said Janey had a crush on Athena, I was expecting it.

Pretty sure a large portion of the borderlands npcs, mainly the non-story npcs are homosexual or at least bi.

Here's an article that helps explain all this.

Game Revolution Article [www.gamerevolution.com]

Originalmente postado por Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford:
When I founded the studio, there were people who joined my studio who were gay but not comfortable with that being known. And today, some of those people are super comfortable with that and they're able to articulate how our culture is figuring this out... And as someone who is involved in entertainment and media, we realize that we have a voice there and we can affect that. So I'm pretty excited that our studio is set up such where any person that's a part of it can feel comfortable expressing themselves through our games.

oh no look at me I can't take gay people in video games because I'm secretly unsure of my own sexuality and too afraid to comfront other possibilities other than the ones my ignorant parents educated me to be -every bro-dude-fedora user in this thread

I don't see any gay bashing or homophobia going on. What are you smoking?
