Golden Keys
Can you get infinite ones in the same way again or have they fixed that? Don't give me your moral/ethical standpoint on infinite keys, i know well that it's "wrong" just tell me if it still works :P

Because i'm going to work in 10 mins and it only just hit me that i could probably dupe keys that way again, so i asked the forums :P (It's kinda what they're here for brah)

Yeah but does setting profile.bin to read only still work? I'm all for editing files i already have, i dont' like downloading seperate programs :/

Gonna make a quick assumption here and say that they fixed that: I'm unable to find the profile.bin file at all. GG 2K, GG. Post here again if you find it yourself or find another way for the glitch to work

If there is a stash safe in the pre-sequel (safe for passing guns between characters) then there will be a profile.bin somewhere most likely.

To be honest, even with the infinite key thing I never ended up using most of my keys in BL2. I think I still have 250 of them what with all the Shift Codes that gave keys. I just never had much interest in Purple Rarity once I started to get Purple and higher drops on a regular basis. I'm in the Steam group that let's you know when more Shift Codes come out so I'll just keep inputing them and hoarding keys to see how many I can accumulate in a year or so.

Yes locking the profile.bin does still work. It is in the same location as before in BL2. Default save location for windows is My Documents > My Games > Borderlands Pre Sequel > WillowGame > SaveData > ############### > Profile.bin It does still work for keys, I am assuming it also works for the old stash glitch for duplicating items as well but I didnt test that one yet.

Unfortunately you can only have 5 keys right now though so you have to restart a lot to get a lot of items. But early on you don't really need to open it 50 times. 5 times is plenty to get a good weapon or two, and maybe a shield or grenade.
