Boss "Eclipse" unbeatable

Having done all missions I got to this boss at level 33, they are 36, I die the moment I step out into the area and his shields regen so fast I cannot get any damage onto him. It's been two hours into the fight.

The boss is simple to avoid and fight, its the fact you're underleveled, doing something wrong, or have terrible guns.

I think I was lvl 42 and I beat it with someone else, so thats probably easier. I found it to be a difficult boss though.

He has tons of shielding and hp, but if you aren't able to land any lasting damage on his lifebar after two hours I'd say your guns are just not damaging enough. Have you done any of the sidequests in the dlc? I think a few of them give reasonable weapons. Other than that all I can advise is to hunt for loot and check the vendors for better gear.

Level at least to 34 to remove 'skull' and reroll vendor for good shock shotgun/splitter 'weapon of the day'.
Also ammo Moxxtail may prove worthy.

i could help but all my characters are above 50 so eclipse would be 42 i think. would make it difficult for you but the boss would be easy enough.

I ended up smashing my head against it and finally won. :( was the least fun boss fight I've ever had. Endurance test =/= fun.

thats awesome and congrats. It took me two friends and one hour my first time. It was annoying but a challenge to somehow work out how to beat him using cover provided.
