Legendary dropped by Claptrap DLC final boss? *spoilers?*

When I removed that H-source from his mouth and then my character said "aww, i was hoping for a legendary", it dropped a legendary...
But the item went directly though the ground, I couldn't even see what it was (MOAR FRUSTRATING PLEASE).
So I just wondered if you guys could tell me WHAT it actually was, if it was scrippted or not, and if I can get it again without doing the whole story (farming basically)?

Shadowtrap dropped a Zim pistol alongside other purple, blue, and common weapons/items. I will assume Shadowtrap can drop certain legendaries, for now.

There is a guaranteed legendary drop for the first time you kill EOS. I even got one legendary after killing Eclipse and one (the guaranteed one) for EOS. It's legendary and random.

I got new legendary pistol Luck Cannon[Jakob same as Maggie] but it has 1 ammo with high damage

Seems random from what everyone is saying, I got Rustler's Flayer from him when I beat him.

That was I got too but I got it(Flayer) from mobs that spawn in boss fight
My Luck cannon dropped from boss first time killed.

Lol, that sucks because you get that from turning in the quest. I got the Hyperion sniper that does burst fire when aiming down sights. Can't remember the name.

I got some kind of orange sniper rifle called the Omni-cannon. 1.9 fire rate 20K damage does 2 types of damage and holds like 15 or 20 rnds.

Aw man, you got a rustlers flayer? i got a sledges shotgun :p
And i believe that the first kill guarantees a legendary, after that i think it's just chance.

I got 2 legendaries after removing the thing from Shadow-Trap!! Cryophobia and Kaneda's Laser!
