Claptastic Voyage Final Boss Bugs

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the final boss is NOT supposed to regen to full health in the middle of the fight without the player character dying. This happened to me about four times and I'm pretty sure it's a glitch (I also got a glitch where the fight became impossible because Shadow Trap wouldn't reappear and just kept taunting me with the holograms).

Finally gave up and quit, the fight's damn near impossible if the boss is going to randomly return to full health right in the middle of the battle.

EOS? It regens all shield at 75% and 50%, then you can kill it.

Not the shield, the health bar itself. As in, I get it down about a quarter of the way on the health bar, shields go back up, and then while I'm scampering around keeping the minions under control the blasted thing heals to full health as well.

Perhaps you should attempt to shoot it more than none after he comes back.

Pouring more bullets into the boss is rather pointless if the thing will, without warning and with no deaths on my part, heal itself to full for no reason. Because this seriously is striking me as a major bug that I hit, and if it's supposed to heal (not the shields, I know the shields recharge, I'm talking about the red bar of health) without the player dying to reset the fight, then that's just plain shoddy game design.

This is happening to me as well, I've read that you just need to take his shield down three times and then you can kill him. However, after I get his shield down the third time and then get his health down far enough he completely regenerates ALL health and ALL shields out of nowhere. I did this entire cycle three times in a row(through 9 shield regens) and then said screw it, this has to be a bug. Additionally, on another attempt when he disappeared to regenerate his shield one of the times he just disappeared and never came back while his minions just kept spawning (well, for about 20 minutes straight).

Even when you are going for more ammo, fire a few shots at his eye just to keep things from regenning.

I had that exact same problem too, where he vanished and never reappeared! Glad I'm not the only one who's been having troubles; sounds like it's a bug, and a pretty major one. I think I'm going to wait until my friends catch up level-wise and then take it on as a tag team.

Just wait for them to patch it, its just released, give them some time.

I had the same problem. After I got his health down to 50%, he didn't exactly do the disapiering act with the holograms and regen his shield. He instead went far out and got all of his sheild and health back instantly. I was was still able to hit him with bullets but after about 5 inutes he came flying back and did his same old thing. So I played again last night and I was able to kill him after the 2 health gates at 75% and 50%. So this fight has a chance of glitching on you.

This happened to me last night while on UVHM. After 2 hours and his health at 25% he decided to vanish and not come back. I almost threw my mouse through the monitor. I even waited about 20 minutes.
