Grinder rejecting input that should work

I'm trying to grind 3 blue oz kits and it won't let me. Is this a bug, or do I not understant all the rules for grinding?

It's not just this.... I get rejected a lot, and usually it's combinations that I could swear have worked before.

one final point I'd really like to have clarified: It's my understanding that since the game was patched a while ago, not only can you grind 3 purples, but you can add moonstone as well. Is that right? Because my game doesn't seem to give me that option. Do I just not have enough moonstone?

I get non-grind combinations myself, but not very often. There is a selection of gear that can't be grinded and from gun switching when I couldn't do to it, I know a a big chunck of the ungrindable gears comes from mission rewards.

The moonstone grind showing up after the last patch was part of the glitch that resulted and it the hotfix released the next day patched up the moonstone option away along with increasing game stability (a lot of people we're experiencing crashes upon the regular grind).

Yes grinder bug today! It would not accept the 3 guns supplied. It keeps asking me for the 3rd gun and I loaded the 3 guns supplied. Then I tried 3 Oz kits all Level 7 all green and it still askes for 3rd item and I loaded all 3. So I am stuck at: Take Spring's Weapons (Check mark) Use Grinder: I cant use grinder.

I dropped the 3 supplied weapons and then picked them back up and tried same thing. Then I dropped the weapons and exit game , reloaded game and hoped I could pick up the weapons again and they were not available. So restarting the game will not help.


Any way to start the mission over, any way to delete the mission from saved games?

the Grinder fully works for me When Grinding WITH Moon Stones

To Confirm that

any 3 blues with Moonstone grind --- Gaurentees A Purple Outcome

AND and 3 Purples with MOONSTONES --- LEGENDARY Guarntee

and 3 legends --- made a legend of random outcome


ive been going crazy off this thing

ive made like 20 legendary items and stuff

This occurred with the patch that Gearbox had posted alongside the Aurelia DLC. In extreme cases, it freezes your game. I believe I read that if you play in offline steam mode, it neutralize this.

The grinder seems to be all over the place at the moment. Sometimes I can only standard grind 3 purples, sometimes only moonstone grinds. Sometimes I can do both, sometime I can do neither, sometimes it crashes my game. Really quite frustrating.

Ugh... I'm so fed up with the stupid grinder. It's either frustratingly arbitrary, or bugged, or both. It's a great idea, and I hope they bring it back for the next game, in a more stable, and straighforward form.

There are some weird bugs with the grinder, yeah. It usually won't let me use laser weapons that have critical damage boost for grinding, but will let every other laser weapons work for some reasons.

Purple with moon stones isn't grindable UNLESS you don't let the game authenticate.

There is a bug with the grinder that stops it working.

Some guns-oz kits- and class mods are ungrindable. They ussually are low quility ones you don't want anyway. I am srry to whoever can't grind but hopefully they will patch it soon.

I started the game with Baroness and I do not get the option to add moonstones with purple stuff.
I tried 100s of different combos and nada.
I wonder if it has something to do with her character...

You can only moonstone grind 3 purples if you start the game quickly before the game has time to authenticate with shift (and download the hotfix).

I have found that certain weapons (exclusively MALIWAN, but that could be a coincidence) will not work in the grinder. I'm sure this is because they have certain RNG rolls that make them unique in the code somehow. I know I'm a little late on this discussion, but heck, thought I'd share my experience.
