Accidentally Sold All Items At Shop

So by some combination of fudged key strokes I managed to sell everything in my backpack at once - but I could only buy back some of the things (looks like there's a limit to that). Does anyone know what keystroke combo I used - so I don't repeat it? Playing Claptrap so I'm in character I guess:)

you can buy back anything you sell for the same price, so this should not be a issue

The list of items you could buy back from the machine was limited to the last 20 sold (it may be more) it was a patch ages ago in Borderlands 2 to prevent 'stacking' your inventory, it appears to me to be carried over to TPS as well.

At one point you could buy back everything you put into the machine as long as you didn't leave the map regardless of your inventory size, now it's only the most recent ones.

It's a bit like holding 'e' too long picking up an item and throwin your favorite gun into molten lava or getting stuck between a loot chest and a wall when you open it, it's there to be aware of and part of the game really.

Nope, lost my Moxxi weapon and a SMG - seemed like the limit is 12 - this is in normal mode so maybe it's 20 in UVHM. So maybe I hit Ctrl-A to select all?

If you hit delete it sells at Items in your inventory that aren't already favorited

just found out about this and i lost like 6 to 7 blues that i had planned to grind but didn't mark favourite, at least warn people this, you stupid dev

They do - while in any VM it's at the bottom of screen: [Delete] Sell Non-Favorites
It's also mentioned on one of the Loading Screen gameplay tips.

Depending on whether or not you've saved&quit and restarted, you might still have the automatic backup.

In your save folder, you primary save is a .sav file, but the game automatically generates a second file (a .sav.bak file). You could check THAT one and see if it still has the items you lost. Even if it doesn't, you could use the save editor to rebuild any particular items you feel the loss of strongly.

I'd suggest you use the save editor to make that check (Gibbed for Windows, Bordertool2 for Macs, be sure to use the one for BL:TPS and not the BL2 versions).

I'd also suggest you make a backup of your entire game folder (including your Profile.bin file) and that you do so regularly.
