Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

What's Your Doppelganger Build and why?
At the moment I'm level 51 with him, so I've got a while to go before his maxed out.

I've decided to take EVERYTHING from the middle tree (except digi-jack with shotguns) and starting down the left tree WITHOUT taking buffs to my digi-jack's hp/survivability.

The middle tree makes your digi-jack's 'expendable assets' once you get to the bottom which counts as a kill when one of them dies, this procs kill-skills so I'm constantly getting kills, faster reloads/more damage/faster movement speed/second winds/and damage resistance that transfers % damage to digi-jacks, killing them faster and procing kill. Also one of the skills makes digi-jack's spawn with less hp, so that even more usefull (this is why you take no buffs to digi-jack survivability)

I'm curious to see how other people have built Jack and if they find him viable for UVHM

As far as viability goes, once they softscaled UVHM it made everything viable. Now it's merely a difference of how fast you kill.

I've had two different Jack set-ups so far and I beat UVHM with both of them, this is my current Jack.

Level: 67

Weapon 1: Company man (TftBL promo) Very fun hyperion shotgun. When I just Jack solo'd the raid boss, the spread made it super easy to score crticals at all times. Even when he is big and has his mask shield on, the pellets would just hit the eyesockets perfectly tearing through his shields.

Weapon 2: Two-fer Maggie (no specfic dropper): One of the strongest pistols in the game. I use it as against people who resistent to shock. I use it for skill synergy way more often!

Weapon 3: Shock Anaylitic Presence O4L4M4A4 (claptrap DLC): The last two slots are my play slots. I rotate out different hyperion weapons to play around with when I find them. I'm currently playing around in the claptrap DLC, so they are currently random glitch guns.

Weapon 4: Cryo Zero beam O4L0M0A4 (claptrap DLC): Again, it's hyperion which is the only qualification I have for the slot. My last Jack build was cryo ans it's pretty fun to keep that element in your mix

Shield: Prismatic Bulwark (Zarp/sentinal) Hyperion absorb shield, increases laser damage and laser absorb chances. I just like absorb shields. This is an hyperion shield, which is what's most important to me. There's probably better shields out there to use, but it holds up at high levles.

Com: Chronicler of Elipsis (Holodome). Used for boosting company man: the skill.

Grenade Mod: Rubberized singularity cryo. Left over from my cryo build and being used for it's hyperion manufucatring. Upgrading to Quasar as soon as I can grind it out of Felciticy

OZ Kit: Eddie (dalek) Best oz kit in the game! Also happens to be Hyperion. Likes to call me maggot.

Skills

Hero Tree:

Best foot foreward 5/5 Used for extended holo-jack time

That's it for the hero tree. I used it a lot more in my cryo build.

GG tree:

It's important to note the the captstone (leadership) is very very important. Once you have taken leadership: You killing, your holos killing, your holos getting killed, Putting enough disatnce between you and the holos to make them teleport, holos simply running out of health, and unsummoning early are all counted by the game as a kill.

Integrity 4/5- Fun for increased damage when enemy health gets lower

Colaboration 5/5: Used with quick dieing Jacks to keep damage boosted while they are out.

Synergy 5/5: Kill skill used to boost both gun and critical damage.

Winning 9/5 (Com boost. Actual points spent:5): +36% movement speed, +45% shield regeneration on kill. Kill skill. With fast dieing Jack's this will help with survivability as well as keeping you moving at a boosted speed.

Optimism 5/5 (Com boost. Actual points spent:1): Rnak 5 damage thanks to com, mainly used to make digi jacks spawn with less health, thus they die and trigger your kill skills faster

Believe 5/5: Kill skill that boosts many aspects of your guns

Potential 1/1: Shock novas are trash mob shield killers and also let you use your holos in FFYL. When combined with leadership, can be very useful to get you out of FFYL mode. If you go down while your skill is in cooldown and it becomes available before you die you can instantly summon then unsummon your Jack to simaltanousily get you out of FFYL, give your skill a massive cool down boost and ends the current summon so that they can pull you out of FFYL again.

Delgation 5/5: Sends 25% of your damage to holos, holos die quicker triggering kill skills.

Leadership 1/1: The single most important skill Jack has.

FE Tree:

Incentives 5/5- Want to get further up the tree, don't care which skill gets used.

Marginal Benefits 5/5- See above Can be useful with jack's Cache in the hero tree, but not important enough to me to build around. I just kind of use grenades to reload whenever it best suits me.

Money Is power 1/1- Gives you .25% damage/satck. Quick runs in the game give me about 100 stacks, longer play sessions have got up to the 490's before I stupidly kil myself with a barrel (I am very good at that. A master if you will :p).

Company Man 9/5 (Com boost. Actual points spent:5): Gives you +13.5 % accuracy and +18 percent famge for each Hyperion item equipped. I have 7 of them equipped. If you'd like to know how I suggest using this skill, please consult the SHOOT THEM IN THE FACE!!!!! section of my TPS screenshots.

Absolute Advantage 5/5: Kill skill +40% chance to not use ammo for a hort period 20% Rocket chances.

Supply and Demand 5/5- Health Regeneration used for post battle recovery.

Sponsered By...1/1 Used with two-fer maggie to get a +30% weapon damge boost (Maggie being a JaKobs) on my hyperion weapons in place of the last stack of company man.

Just solo'd the raid boss while I was in the 60s, more than powerful enough to take anything the game can throw.

Focusing on the Red tree for a new build, since I switch weapons a lot, use Hyperion guns no problem, and the Sponsor skill at the end sounds great.

Then I'm picking up the no-grenades skill and the Inspire skill from the green tree, then focusing on the blue tree and a bit of green for the rest of the build.

For weapons, I'm fine with a Synergy pistol, Transmurdera SMG, Competition sniper rifle, and a laser with the stream barrel. If I pick up the Sponsor skill, I'll probably replace the Synergy with a Vladof pistol, or the Competition with a Jakobs sniper. Those sound like the best to combo with Hyperion guns for my playstyle.
I pretty much got 3 put into best foot forward, then every kill skill in the middle tree, and fast weapon swapping, compound interest, and the melee override.
