Could we add BL2 characters to Pre-Sequel ?

I imagine BL2 and Pre-Sequel are nearly identical in terms of coding .

So you could theoretically allow as to play all characters from BL 2 in this game ? For those that own BL2

I mean BL2 characters would not need a lot of updates to work proeprly in this game .

Maybe even vise versa . Add Pre-Sequal characters to BL 2 . Patch BL2 for laser guns .

Actually they could probably find a way to merge both communities together . Its the same game you could just add waypoint system for both .

It is a nice idea but... too many things to change. In short: borderlands 2 classes are not optimized for Elpis' conditions.

Here's what I did, worked pretty well...
1) Rename your Steam Profile: Krieg
2) Create A NEW Baroness and name it: Krieg

In all seriousness BL:TPS is a cash-in by Gearbox/2K on the existing BL2 code base. They are basically the same game to the point where BL2 fanboys refer to TPS as an overpriced DLC for BL2. They usually say that with respect to how short TPS is. It is shorter than the previous two games. But the real reason it is basically an overstuffed DLC is the fact that it is the same code base and assests rehashed to a large extent. Sure they added stuff. I prefer TPS game mechanics. But at the end of the day TPS is a stop gap built on the same code base as BL2 to cash in on existing assests. As a software engineering and business decision it makes perfect sense. But it did not satisfy many people. I like TPS, but I am out a season pass and have only 1 campaign DLC to show for it.

As to your question, I could just as easily ask the reverse. Is there any way on God's green Earth to get Athena into BL2, because I want something else to do. If Gearbox really wanted to they could get any of these characters into the other games fairly quickly, but they aren't going to do that. Not unless they charge some stupid amount of money for it.
