Jackpot! challenge problem

Does anyone know if Jackpot! challenge in Concordia is broken in any way? I'm starting a new character and I cannot get this challenge even though I got three vault symbols a few times already. On the old character I did this challenge, but it's separate character so it should not influence it in any way. Right now the three vault symbols on the slot machine gives me just some green rarity skin. So, anybody knows about some problems with this challenge?

[Zen raises hand] "I know!" The answer to the unasked question is "try try again" cos ya never know when you're gonna hit success on the mentioned challenge. This game was in current computer gaming terms produced "in ancient times" well over a decade ago. Don't look for up-to-date development / production / patching techniques here cos you won't find them on any platform, let alone on Steam PC games. The slots will more often than not give you far worse than "some green rarity skins" when you hit three symbols on one of them so be thankful for those greenies.

The best gift you'll get outta the slots is a decent blue and the chances of even that are extremely limited until you're way up in UVHM above Level 68. The slots were added essentially as "sucker bait" for lower level players to dump some extra $$$ when they've accumulated more cash than they'll ever need for legit in-game purposes.

You want dynamite Lege's or 100% Accurately Constructed Challenges etc? Stick to the random chests outside of Concordia in the game's "most dangerous" locales after you've slaughtered all the games' nastiest bad guys

PS In effort to further refine what I've already said, the extremest bestest gift you can ever hope to obtain from the slots is a "moonstone explosion" (+/- 100 moonstones). If you're any lower than UVHM Lvl 72 you can forget about that remote possibility unless & until you've aced the game after many thousands of hours of game play all the way up thru to endgame on each of the playable characters then repeating it from scratch just for kicks on your preferred character(s).

The problem is that I don't care about items but about challenge itself, and I should get it after getting three vault symbols (because that is what the challenge says) but for some reason it does not trigger.

Don't force me to be rude and contradict you. But factually you do "care about items" ~ precisely those I detailed & arguably you may need to perform this effort more than once ~ if you have the first hope in heaven to score that challenge legitimately.

More important by far, I understand your pain loud & clear and would contact Gearbox Support directly with your complaint and inquiry. I trust they'll set you right. You own Google ~ seek out & target the needful. Cheers

UPDATE: I got the challenge by getting 3 big moonstone symbols (not small, not medium) on the machine. Still not sure why 3 vault symbols did not finished the challenge.

Hey good job getting the challenge , I also needed to get the moonstone for it to register, and if I remember correctly back in BL2 it was the eridium for the jackpot challenge in one of my playthru's , it's weird but triple 7/bar or vault symbols didn't seem to work.
