No longer works on Steam Deck

I had the game running on Steam Deck for a while.

Then came the new update to Steam Deck and now BLPS no longer launches. Just hangs and cannot exit either (have the restart the Steam Deck to end the attempted launch).

An uninstall/re-install has not helped. Currently my Steam Deck version is at OS Version 3.3.2, OS Build 20221005.1

If anyone has any advice or known fixes, I'd appreciate it!

Just discovered that this doesn't work as well. Proton v7 works but you sometimes have to launch it multiple times to get past an error. You will also need to do some digging to find where to transfer your save to get to work. I need the Linux version to work though cuz I'm playing with my brother that cannot run the latest version through proton. If I find anything I will update though from what I have seen the windows version through proton runs faster so you may want to try to switch to that.

Sadly, a factory reset on the Steam Deck did not fix the issue either.

same... had built a robot army, stupid updates. same build and version

verified, and has triggered 3 separate 3gb updates... cannot say any thing at this point
edit* up and running again! kookaburra intro replaced and a gearbox menu ad, although was running Steam runtime linux before, thought I had proton experimental forced

I think I may be seeing the same or a related issue on a regular Linux install. It also seems to be affecting Borderlands 2.

It's finally working good again on proton experimental. The Linux one is freezing up and not syncing my saves... Sucks that they don't cross save.
