My personal favs in TPS are Clappy, Jack, and Wilhelm.
Nisha is tricky, her special require to aim for more efficient shooting, and she might end up taking too much damage.
Can't remember ClapTrap. I played like 80% of the game with him like 1 year ago, and stopped playing TPS. Now I'm back and playing with each class at the same time. XD
Nisha was the easiest character for me, double pistols+tombstone is deadly.
Jack is damned strong and is a great tank.
I only got Athena to level 30, but she was already pretty OP at that point. I love her defensive action skill.
Nisha is what you would call Salvador of TPS. Jack has nothing in common with Salvador what so ever. If you ever have taken both Nisha and Jack to 70 and get optimal gear for their best build you can clearly see that Nisha melts everything while Jack dont. Nisha destroys bosses > Jack does not even come clos to the same kill speed.
Go elemental Athena and she will be the easiest character to take trough 1-70. ~ The aegis is just broken you can litterly tank everything thats shot at you while you have it up.
You dont need to play Fragtrap for that. You can almost boost infinite amounts without never running out of Oz if you just keep killing enemies. Even when moving from A to B you are very unlikely to run out of Oz if you manage it well enough and have good air movement.
Athena is really tough when her shield is up. Wilhelm is similar to Axton, good all-around, good survivability.
The other three are all to weird for me to enjoy playing.
(Claptrap may be funny, but I don't care for the unpredictability of his action skill. Jack seems to have this weird psychological dichotomy where he plays like a brave, confident Vault Hunter, but has the personality and manerisms of a low-self esteem, geeky college student. Aurelia plays okay I suppose, but she feels like an after thought in terms of scripting.)
