Why is this game being updated?
It's rather ...old...I mean a legacy game.

it didn't break the hex tool, the update updates the .exe, so you just have to re-enable hex editting of your executable...

pretty much this^. i just ran both games exe through the hex multitool and was good to go.

Both .exe, Binaries (.dll), a huge amount of .upks in CookedPCConsole (almost all CD*
-files) and Localisations (WillowGame.XXX)

Again, you must re-enable hex editing of your .exe file, because it was updated, which reverts it to its original state.

The first thing I checked when I saw updates for this and BL2 is check the Lyuda... but alas it's still messed up :D

Gotta love how they are updating their Steam games that are 3, 7, and 9 years old respectively just to put in ads for a game that isn't even releasing on Steam...

Right this is "not a DLC" ~ it's the base game that hasn't been released yet. After its release by say end summer 2022, we should have a better picture of the complete price that'll be offered for this new base game with its DLCs. Have fun

The release date on consoles is scheduled for March 22, 2022 I believe, so hopefully we won't have to wait until summer to play this gem <3

The release date is March 22 everywhere except Steam, not just consoles. This is because Epic has another exclusivity deal for 6 months.
