High levels with one character?

I'm wondering how to continue leveling up with one character. I'm near the end of the regular game: working on The Begining of the End Mission and am at level 28. I see in videos characters in their 50's and 60's! How do I go on leveling? I know I have some DLC's to do but will they give that much EXP? I have not missed too many missions; just a few side missions. And the Claptrap DLC says I should be level 30 and I have a ways to go to get there even! If I start a new game with same character do I keep my currant level? Thanks for any and all input!!

You start on normal mode, final boss I around level 30. When you beat the final boss TVHM unlocks with stronger enemies and the areas will be set to a higher level. Once you beat The final boss on TVHM everything scales to level 50 and UVHM unlocks. UVHM enemies will be +-2 levels from your level and scale with you instead of being area dependent.

When you unlock new modes, you can choose what mode to play via the character select scree. Each character tracks mode progress individually.

"Replay?" I wouldn't call it that cos they have a different "feel" in TVHM & UVHM. But formally, yes the game consists of three, increasingly more difficult playthroughs ("modes") of about 20 - 25 levels each and endgame's at level 70.

Yes. In each mode it will be the same missions and side missions. The audio changes slightly (normal has one story, true and ultimate have a different story with more character cameos) and enemies get stronger, but the missions themselves don’t change.

Just so nobody gets confused the pre sequel does not have OP levels and the max level is 72.

Though this is accurate for BL2.
