nova? no problem! sold my shield for ammo

do i have to finish the game and get the shield back as a true vault hunter, and then go back in normal and complete it?

because i have been searching every medical vending machine on the map and no luck getting a nova shock shield, but i get everything else

or is there a certain monster i can get it from?

all you need is a nova shield. doesn't matter what kind. Just go back to it later when you have a nova shield and grenade yourself to deplete it.

Just keep your eye out, any nova shield (even a white quality one) will do.

No, there's no special place you can get one, other than the quest. Keep checking the Nurse Nina machines, those are your best bet (probably).

i tried with a fire nova shield, but nothing happened, and then i managed to buy shock nova shield, tried the mission, only getting 2 cameras off and shocking the safe, only finding out thta the shock nova shield radius was to low

but after completeing the game i found a nice one in the true vault hunter mode, but ♥♥♥♥ me it took a low time for those level 4 bandits to get my shield down xD ( me being lvl 34 and shield lvl 31)

I made this mistake too and found a quite simple solution. Go to Concordia and uprade your granade stock at the black market so you can carry 4 granades at once. Then buy a granade with shock effect. They pop up regular in the ammo vending mashine. Then go to the room and throw one granade in front of each camara. This worked for me.

same mistake, but got my second "powerful" nova shield from golden key chest.
