This tool will execute everything you need to get the patch working. It will hex-edit your game exe automatically and you can choose which key should be set as the Console Key.
Now, after you installed the tool, go to
https://github.com/BLCM/BLCMods/tree/master/Pre%20Sequel%20Mods
search for the Community Patch in that list, choose the version, I recommend the newest one. Just copy and paste the whole thing as mentioned above into a text file and save it or just donwload it. You can name it however you want, but for further execution of the patch, it would be the easiest to just name it patch.txt. Now you have to put the patch.txt into the "Binaries" folder of your game.
Start your game, when you are in the main menu, press the Console Key you have chosen. the console should appear, then type "exec patch.txt" without quotation marks. If executed correctly the next line that appears should look like
>>> exec patch.txt <<<
Now the community patch should work. With the BLCMM tool, you can see which changes the Community Patch is running, you can also choose which changes you want to be executed and which not. for further information on how the BLCMM-tool is working, just click here
