Meanwhile Jack’s body double is a jack of all trades that can be speciallized in many different ways. You’ll have a good time with him even if you aren’t that good.
Lady HAmmerlock is a very niche character. I never played her for long but yeah
Her other skill tree is focused on the new cold element, what freezes the enemies for cheap crits/kills and healing. And the other tree is mostly for multiplay, making her a healer and buffer.
I won't call her a glass cannon, though, as she can pretty much heal herself and even resist damage better than Nisha, what is the trully glass cannon of this game.
Jack is the jack-of-all-trades. Guess that was purelly intentional by the devs. He is the best solo character, with no need to be at the certain level, get some specific equipment, or do a particular build. He have skills that can make him useful in combat even if he don't have any ammo.
He is the kind of character that someone would complain about how cheap, or overpowered, or cheat, or broken. Personally, I find stupid when gamers use these words, especially when talking about optional gameplay. And yeah, I'm aware that someone will disagree with me by showing some Nisha build that can kill some boss faster than Jack, "wah, wah, whatever!" Is not about the DPS, but how Jack can be adapt to whatever situation.
the baroness is really nice, I don´t know much about her sniper tree but her Cryo tree in the middle is pretty good and the co-op tree on the right is really really really really good but it only works with a second player
Your request about playable classes is a bit unclear cos different people favor different things but I've played them all and can respond. If you're looking for the best-written and well-rounded playable class, it's Nisha the Lawbringer. If you're looking for the most outrageous playable class with the best skills for keeping team mates alive and healthy, it's Fragtrap the Claptrap. If you're looking for the easiest playable class to level in solo, it's Jack the Doppelganger. If you're looking for the best defensive skills, it's Wilhelm the Enforcer. Aurelia the Baroness wasn't too much fun for most people I know who are experienced playing the BL series. Anyway, these are just my opinions cos you asked so I wouldn't expect everyone to agree. Have fun
I'm currently putting the points into the left tree, 11 levels worth so far. not sure what to put points into next, once I have at least the first 3 skills, tier 1-3, maxed at 5 each.
Side note...whats the base level cap? Ya know, before the 2 dlcs are added.
The other character is quite fun. She seems to work well with good sniper rifles and her ability is powerful, just not near Jack's.
I definitely suggest getting the dlc packs, because the game is a blast.
But whether we like it or not, I think it taught us long ago starting in BL1 that the story never really ends with the base game - they just cut if off at a convenient resting spot until we play the rest of the game that's contained on its dlcs - the dlcs are the only way you can reach the full game's maximum level which most consider to be its "end".
It’s not going to have much use in the base game, there’s not a whole lot of armored enemies.
TBH the whole left tree is pretty meh for me. The powerful holograms are fun in normal mode, but get slower and less powerful as the difficulty increases.
