how are the playthroughs?

Hey Only played this game a lil bit leveld 3 character to around level 30 and I remember beating it and starting True Vault Hunter mode.
I wanna level all the way up to 70 now and wonder how the playthroughs are in this version.
Will it be like Borderlands and feature a 2.5 Playthrough system where everything scales tot your level after you finish the second playthrough or will this be like Borderlands 2 and feature a UVHM that you can reset whenever you like?

I´m pretty sure it does feature an UVHM since one of the addons is called like that :P
If it does I wonder how it works since there is no slag in this game.

It got UVHM about when clappy dlc came out (2k fixed some bugs, added UVHM, released clappy dlc and "said we dont want to touch this turd that 2k aus made anymore").

UVHM was released 2 DLC’s before claptastic voyage in a free patch along side the Holodome DLC

Why do people have so much rage towards this game when it uses the same comedic/gameplay formula as the previous games?

Feels like it's a meme or fad to play along and hate for no apparent reason. I mean, it's the internet and it's funny to see people foaming at the mouth/fingertips over stupid stuff, but we have to be in on the joke for it to be funny, otherwise it's confusing.

this is just not as good as BL2. its merely the same game with updated gameplay mechanics. It has some issues. Its buggy. the pacing is off. It sold for full price while only feeling like a big DLC of the second game. The original publishers 2K australia got dissolved during the Period where the game still realesd DLC´s which then got covered by 2K. Thtas basically all there is to it.

Agreed, though I like the little features like the zero gravity (although it honestly can get old) and the wealth of playable characters given it's small size. On sale, it's a no brainer, but not at full price.

That's the kind of stuff that confuses me, how can it be "merely the same game with updated gameplay mechanics" but still be "not as good"? If this game addresses issues with the previous games and improves on their features, then this game is better.

If the perceived value of the game is low, then I can understand why people would have an issue paying a lot for it.

I would have to guess that people are upset that it won't have a ton of DLC like the previous game, which is really weird to say considering how maligned DLC is nowadays.

So, I don't think it's a stretch to say that the underlying reason people are angry is because they won't get the game with tons and tons of DLC included when the GOTY edition inevitably goes on sale for $8, like BL2.

The game didnt really improve on mechanics, it just added some more of them (most of which were gimmicky and iffy at best). The overall difficulty of the game is a joke (you can be 7-8 levels underlevel and easily beat areas, as long as you know what you are doing), but balancing is off (the first boss is the hardest boss in the game). Also there werent enough mainline quests, so you can literally do a main quest at one level, then the next is 3-4 levels higher, so unless you want that underlevel difficulty you need to do the sidequests, many of which are just...bad.

As for the percieved value being low, its because it just feels like the B-team made the game (worse jokes, everyone but the main chars are aussies, self censorship).

People are upset about the dlc because there was a season pass, then literally 1 real dlc came from from it (the claptastic voyage) and it wasnt even made by the same group that made the base game (which is why its actually better than the base game, 2k aus did pretty bad).

there is only one major story dlc and the rest are ok

the only ones i would have bought were the charecters
