[Temp fix] Fix the damn d3d error

[Fk Cancer]

The game is literally unplayable with this d3d error being so persistent. Anything I do leads to a crash. There's no solution to it by looking for answers online.

Error msg: d3d_device_-> CreateShaderResourceView at rglGPU_device::create_texture_from_image failed! The parameter is incorrect.

GPU: GTX 1070 Ti
Up-to-date GPU driver, tried reinstall, tried verifying integirty, tried deleting M&B folder under Documents, tried updating Windows.

Crashed regardless of version. 1.6.5 or 1.7.0


EDIT: Solved! Thanks to user Fiddle Gastro by suggesting to reinstall drivers. I reinstalled my latest driver and it solved it.

EDIT 2: it happened again, reinstalling drivers are only a temp fix

Edit3: Solved it by completely uninstalling and reinstalling Bannerlord. That means deleting all files under My Documents nad udner SteamApps common

Good point, but its not a good sign when there are so many d3d errors. Best case scenario is that they resolve all of them.

Here's mine: d3d_device_-> CreateShaderResourceView at rglGPU_device::create_texture_from_image failed! The parameter is incorrect.

You damn techwiz, i just reinstalled latest driver and it solved it (so far)

I know you said you were on the latest driver, so was likely a corrupted/dodgy graphics profile.

This may or may not help, but worth a try. try unseating and reseating your graphic card and ram chips.

Hello, I've sent crash dump previously. No mods installed. I started a new game and it crashes far less often now. However, the error seems very rampant around the Vlandia region

I dont have this issue with any other game other than Bannerlord. Starting a new game fixes most of it, so i dont think reseating will work
