Came back to warband today

the battles just, feels simplistic compared to Bannerlord, less flexible and there's barely any formation. Seriously warband just has the advantage of more mods, but even the mods can't sway me to play warband more, I just wish the day that many total conversion mods pop up in Bannelord that I have no reason to come back to warband

ive never played warband so im not gonna say anything to it but in the last three years ive never seen anyone here criticize that game so im just gonna sit here and enjoy the show when all that people write mean posts here XD

or any good conversion at all.
warband native is ok but with mods i feel lik the overal gameplay is better than bannerlord,

Total Conversion mods take time. Like years. PoP's latest update according to Nexus was in 2020. That's years of development put into that mod. Expecting something like that to be available for a game that's barely been released for over a year seems pretty unrealistic.

When did PoP come out compared to when Warband did? At what point was PoP considered feature complete and 'good'?

Warband was the best of the best in that time, now in this time Bannerloard is the king OF THE GAME plus some of us was waithing 13 years for Bammerloard to come out.
In the end Bannerloard is not so bad plus MODS are makeing this games better with a TIME...

In terms of mechanics, Bannerlord out beats Warband but warband seems to have a better world built. Armor aesthetic is consistent. Npcs have options to interact with (lords are mean or nice to you, they can become friends or rivals) RPG and Sandbox mechanics from warband are not in bannerlord yet. if you like to fight endless wars , Bannerlord is better, if you want to roleplay as a lord and have a meaning/impact in the world, then Warband is your game.

it was years im pretty sure it first came out in 2012 of june.
And warband I dont think was released in alpha like this game, and wasnt getting updates every two seconds. i dont think that mod was also a super amazing overhaul at the time, that got way better with time.

this op doesnt realize theres already overhauls for this game, theyre just not on nexus mods for some reason, there is a pretty good (from what I hear and see) warhammer total conversion. new map and everything pretty much. Even custom ui stuff, and spells.

Warband was released in 2010 and never really got updates. And due to its modular nature, the update didn't matter. As a result, mods could be developed immediately.

Bannerlord was released in 2022 and has had constant updates and code changes since then. IE, it still isn't finished. Also it removed the modular format because it was causing too many issues apparently. What's more it didn't even get modding support until recently relative to its lifespan.

Prophesy of pendor took years to develop, so be patient.

...its the exact same system. I don't know how you're having trouble with it. Did you turn "auto-attack-aim" or whatever it is off?

...its the exact same system. I don't know how you're having trouble with it. Did you turn "auto-attack-aim" or whatever it is off?

i think thats more a "your setup" problem then rather then the games coding

buddy it aint my set up lmao. i dont have this issue with warband or any other game. AND IF I WANT TO SPAM CAPS AND EMOJIS AND YOU TAKE THAT AS ME BEING A KID, then i guess that's your fracking problem and you can deal with it. :D

Because every time TaleWorlds releases a new update it breaks all the mods. Why do you guys think there's barely any mods? They pissed off the majority of the modding community back when it was still in Early Access, and the only one's who've stuck around take a while to update their mods.

Edit: And what I mean by 'barely' any mods, is that any other game of this size and community, would have three times the amount of mods both on nexus, the workshop, and everywhere else.
