You give them aid; they leave you alone.
They call it the "♥♥♥♥♥ out fee"
The more of an enemy's settlements you hold, the higher the tribute they will demand.
The more casualties you inflict on them and prisoners you take the more the tribute demand will sink.
The more wars a kingdom faces the more tribute they'll have to pay for peace.
Time, village raids and power also affects tribute.
a single "king-clan" in war with you cant dmg your kingdom. you can ignore them.
but its very boring to recruit over 50+ clans.
at the moment you are king, the game change more and more to a walking simulator. you hunt clan-leader like pokemons, but its much less fun.
This is a really good battle simulator and a really bad everything else.
It's at best a pretty good battle simulator
