What Mods to use?

I am coming back to this game after playing the heck out of it from day 1 of it's early access release, what mods would you guys recommend me to use for my next playthrough?

For me it's:

Butterlib
Mod Configuration Menu (MCM for short)

WORKSHOP>
B.A.R.D. army overhauls
Swadian Armoury for really good 14th century armour
Diplomacy
Dismemberment


NEXUS>
My Little Warband (lets you make up your own troop tree)
Immersive Sergeants (makes your captains repeat your orders an stuff)
Distinguished Service (lets you turn those troops into your companions)

You could also do Realistic Battles Mod but I find the changes to war gear very bloated. The AI for that mod is solid though, So I use the AI portion only and disable the combat module in its menu which you can access from the games title screen.

These i consider essential for my own personal enjoyment, my advice is to read up on mods that take your interest and also consider if they may attempt to change the same things and try avoid those.

It seem harmony keeps having problems. That's why I have not touched it. Correct?

Also prefer mods that work on thier own and dont require other mods to work. Seeks like it's less of a pain that way

You've actually managed to make it work? I tried it a few days ago and couldn't manage it no matter what I did.

Mainly I just can't get the unit editor to open. I tried shift-clicking on a unit in the tree with the encyclopedia open, but nothing ever happens.

I have all mods including Harmony set for version 1.00 of the game.
Mods are from Nexus
Game version 1.00 in "beta" options

Everything works perfect.

this 1.01 patch is not game changing and I loose nothing plaything 1.00
I just keep an eye on mods and game updates to adjust accordingly.

be sure to disable the arena module in RBM options from the main menu. otherwise it'll clash with Arena Overhaul which I find superior.
