Best Companion for Caravan Master.
What companion do you guys hire to run your caravans?

What are the best skills? Obviously Trade but what else? Steward? Riding? Scouting? Tactics?

My first caravan is run by ''Spicevendor'' because of high starting Trade and Steward. But she have already high lvl and zero focus in scouting and other maybe important skills.
So who would be the top pick to run your caravans?

The Aserai one you're using now is the hands down best caravaneer out of the box. There's a Khuzait one that I can't remember its name that comes in second.

The most important things being Trade, Scouting and Tactics. That way they make a lot of money on their discounted prices, move really fast and easily win bandit fights when they do get caught.

I myself make my own companions with mods. I like my Battanaian Traders because they're really good at losing attackers in forests.
Scouts make the best merchants. They'll eventually get enough trade exp for the first perk and then they're make reliable profit afterwards.
I always look for tactics. Tactics is supposed to be the skill for auto resolved fights, which all the caravan's fights will be unless you join in the fight yourself. Trade will level itself up, as will other skills, but tactics will keep the caravan from being taken out by bandit attacks.
Spicevendor, Silent, Swift, Ragged, Golden, Wanderer all make good caravan leaders.
