Buy Green, sell red? Question about trading
Hey guys, i wonder why i heard of the "Rule" to always buy goods which are highlighted green which seems legit, but then to care that it has to be red when u want to stell your stuff.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2841038126

The following picture shows me an quite example, that its actually not like that?! Which point am i missing? I would never sell my grapes for 11 because this is just above average as i can remember^^ Why is it still red?

Thx for help in advance :csgohelmet:

PS: Yes of course, i am seeing the rumours which gives me the advice where to sell it maybe. I am just confused about the colours.

Well if you can identify some towns that have npc owned workshops that require resources not produced by the local villages, that's a good spot to sell the related good. The resource the workshop needs. Next, after a town is sieged you can sell food to the shop there for maximum price because the market is food starved from the siege. Next, buy horses from the desert and sell them in the north. next, later in the game the towns will have high prosperity which causes them to require lots of food. The villages can't produce enough most of the time. That's the best time to trade food outside of a post siege.

One tip is to buy a workshop or 2 in a town, convert them into workshops that require a resource not produced locally that you want to sell there, then sell the workshop, creating demand for that good.
