No, too many keys to control units on battlefields.
You wouldn't want a controller for this game anyway lol

Its a strategy game at core, so no, not controller friendly at all.

not at all as mentioned, not only you control armies but the swinging mechanics are way better on k&m

Ignore all the Previous posters.

The controller support for a game of this style is excellent.

You can do evertything with radial and the slow mo when giving orders helps greatly aswell.

Is it as fast or accurate as a mouse (especially for bows): no

Is it functional and van you play the game without hassle: yes

Source: someone who played this over 400hours with An xbone controller on my tv

As zef kindly highlighted, the game is in fact controller friendly.

However, as the others pointed out, it was made primarily for mouse and keyboard.

Excellent! I like when devs replay to posts. It's really cool.
I agree it is functional with controller but for most much better with keyboard and mouse!

Thanks, with the game coming to console eventually will any better controller support be added in the PC version?

Yeah, we will continue to work on controller support and you can expect parity between PC and console in that regard.
