The Game Still Early Access
It's been years since the game was released, it's still in early access and the bug is still being resolved in the updates. Such a disappointed 👎

Technically, the game has been in early access 1 year 11 months, so not years. The game is also still being actively developed, hence new bugs with new updates that must be resolved. If continued development is a disappointment to you, perhaps you should refrain from buying early access titles?

the early access release was in march 2020, next month it will be 2 years, thats not really long for a early access period.

Development is painstakingly slow. Especially since it has been in development for so long. Development also seems to be slowing down. Patches are becomg less frequent and development updates talk about what they have done, instead of what they will do.

yeah it's a trash game, developers are greedy and are doing the bare minimum to keep new customers coming in and to show they are trying to work on this.

I'm not against early access, but I'm against keeping the game in early access for a long time. I said "years" because it won't be out of early access even after 2 months. 😊

A game can be in early access for as long as it wants in my book.
But, if you don't treat it like a beta test and give people as much input and testing toys as possible, then you're just messing around

Which, in the case of this game, it's a mixture of legit and "just making content" which is also part of development.

Early access is a misnomer anyway. I'm not getting access to a game early, I'm getting access to being an investor and potential tester. The game's not ready, after all.

In the case of BL, my gripes are a lack of customization for multiplayer and co, no dedicated servers, no direct connections, nothing that, in my opinion, goes in line with "this game is not done and needs hardening".

After 10 years, if your game needs EA you are not making a great game. TWs features are often regressive, they have no idea how to make a game like this.

We waited over a decade for a flop. But they made their money and they do not care.

Maybe there are people who don't know. The first game of the company is almost the same. As a result, people put it on the first game and waited for it to progress. But there is not much in terms of content.

- Mechanics are good.
- The graphics aren't bad either.
- Conversational dialogues are old style. NPCs don't even have lip movement. (that's okay too you don't mind much later on while playing.)
- The quest system is very little in content. etc

It could have been fed as content in about 2 years. At its simplest, mission systems could be traversed.

Says a time that is years.

Claims that it has not been years.
If you're unhappy with the slow progress, invent a time-machine or something.

The way I play Early Access games is to play it for a bit, shelve it for 6 or more months, and then come back to see how progress is going.

The reason people always complain about Early Access games is because they actually get to see what a game being developed in real-time looks like.

Consider ALL the games that have gone into development hell and/or were never released AT ALL.

Do you think Duke Nukem Forever spent 15 years in Development Hell because the publisher was greedy and didn't want to sell you their game?
