For money part trading is much easier. Or even better exploit smithing.
Sanala has 3 grain villages, so great place to build a Brewery.
I have 3 workshops right now income per workshop is between 100 and 200, is that considered ok right now?
If you want low maintenance high income workshops then go for wool weavers in khuzait lands

But it doesn't. For instance a year ago you could make money buying things at the villages and selling them at the cities. Like in real world. Now EVERY thing is more expensive to buy at the village where it is produced. And this very thing is cheaper to buy in the nearest city.
Try selling those goods to another city, many others will offer much better prices if they do not have a native supply.
