Did you raid/commit crimes before joining your Kingdom. Did you play as a bandit is what I mean.

Certain kingdom laws, like that one, reduces the influence of certain, or all, vassals. Counter it by dumping prisoners and spare soldiers in a friendly dungeon/keep.

That's a kingdom policy. Kingdoms can enact policies that a lot of the time remove influence from vassals while adding it to the ruler.

To offset it you can spend influence to propose and vote for a policy that adds influence to you. Or you can try "disavow" which I haven't tried but I believe it does something to try to get rid of it.

Disavowing a policy allows a new vote to get rid of it. Helpful for when your ruler is a greedy asshat bleeding the vassals dry.

"Trial by Jury" is the law enacted by the ruler of the kingdom you're in. It reduce your influence -1 everyday if your Charm lvl is lower than 100, but you get +1 influence everyday if your charm kill is at least 100.

If you want to farm charm perk easily, just go talk with a noble, barter with them, give them all the gold you have and then ask them to give you the same amount of gold in return - you get lots of experience from doing that, and it litterally cost nothing.

Yup. Looters, for instance, will net you influence in a 2:1 ratio. If those looters managed to capture some peasants, take them too, even if you go over your unit cap, and donate them to the garrison. Doing this will help you go from -40ish to 200 or so in quick order, and you'll soon be able to try to revoke the law

putting prisoners in dungeons and troops in garrisons. this of course doesn't work if you put them in your own dungeons/garrisons.

in the town/castle menu go to the keep, from there you can donate troops to the garrison, going to the dungeon lets you donate prisoners.
