How to command troops?
I have seen that I need to play with F1 F2 F3 F4 etc... but its so frigging annoying, complicate and honestly totally time wasting ... isn't there a better and more easy and accessible way to command troops?

Hitting F6 give them a stupid ai commander.

If you want effect, you do it yourself. If you want it easy but maybe at a cost F6.

when you press f1 you see the formation of troops on the ground where youre looking right? move them to roughly where you want them then you can click and drag them with the mouse to make them a thinner formation and rotate them.

Yes, if you are using english as system language, then VoiceAttack (available throught Steam too, by the way) have a nice file on Nexus Mods just ready to export and command with your voice throught the mic.
For other languages you need to work a bit and make the commands by yourself. Or search because maybe somebody in the internet already done it.
You also can use other similar programs for basically same result, althought only Voice Commander comes to mind and it will cost more overall than VoiceAttack (and VoiceAttack have a free version with 20 commands limit which, honestly, going to be enough in most cases).

This way only selecting position and direction of the troops will require you to use keyboard and mouse.
