the reason they're coming back so quickly with large armies is because they've currently been prioritized to siphon their forces from garrisons if they take big losses. so they'll just go to their fiefs and take the 200/300 guys there and come back and try to whoop your ass. it's not ideal, but it makes sense and is better than them being captured by looters after their first loss
So you just trade them either for gold either for influence?
But I was thinking more about letting them go so later convince them to join my kindgdom more easily. Like in Warband. Or is it not implemented yet?
Also, are there various personalities like in Warband, where some lords took releasing after battle as an insult?
Not true - you can gain a negative trait for executing them ;P
