Oh snap, someone didn't get the memo regarding the new paradigm. Sociology > biology.
Well i am sure that there are bastards playing bannerlord as anyone born out of wed lock is considered a bastard and we all know that with the erosion of traditional family units there are more bastards than ever.
I want to talk about the impact that bastards can have on the SP sandbox game.
Prince Valdym the Bastard, claimant to the throne of the Kingdom of Vaegirs.
So it better be a thing in Bannerlord unless they are making a worse game.
Actually now that dynasties are a thing if your legitimate son inherit your throne a bastard could challenge his claim. This could may be provide a hit to the right to rule and may be relations to other lords. Would've been nice
Or may be as a new lord/king he could purge his father's bastards.
Don't see it coming to the game though. Too late now.
You either live as a bannerlord and father bastards or you die early enough to see yourself becoming the bastard.
I think I remember there being dedicated family trees for Lords in this game. With all the changes from Bannerlord, I wonder if this would also include for Claimants? If any characters would happen to already be "bastard children", I'd imagine at least one Claimant to mostly likely be such.
