Aion client crashes after launch

Hey guys! I searched everywhere but i didn't find any solution for this:

I installed the game and when i click in the button to start the game, it does an update or something, after that the splash screen open and after a while, an window shows up saying the client stopped working.

help?

if the screen is black, wait some time (on slow HDDs over 1min). This "normal", because AION is loading much stuff and Windows thinks the process is frozen, but it isn't.

No, that's not what happens. The client don't even launch, just the splash screen.

I've already looked at that article and nothing works.
I already had this problem 6 months ago when i was playing, but i don't remember how i fixed it.

just rid with the game and redownload/reinstall

The crashes could happen due to various reasons. The support will ask you to provide some more details to be able to help you with this, that's what I can recommend. Sorry that I can't provide you a better solution.

For a start though, you can also proceed as Nemull suggested! Thx Nemull for your help here ;)

Problem solved. I contacted the support and they gave me some solutions and one of them fixed my problem.

What i did:

- Open a command window as Administrator
- Type the following "chkdsk /f /r" and then press enter
- Type Y and enter to the message "Do you want this volume to be checked on the next restart"
- Restart your computer and let the check disk do its job
- Once complete, run a disk defragment.
